Albian Hajdari

Albian Hajdari is a Swiss football defender born in Binningen on 18 May 2003. He began at FC Aesch before joining FC Basel’s academy in 2014, progressing to the first-team squad for the 2020–21 season. Juventus acquired his rights in September 2020, while loan arrangements kept him connected with Basel during his development. In July 2022, Hajdari joined FC Lugano on loan and later signed a four-year contract with the club in April 2023. He made 34 league appearances and scored three goals for Lugano in 2023–24. Hajdari subsequently moved to 1899 Hoffenheim, where his size and versatility have supported use as a centre-back or left-back. After representing Switzerland from under-15 to under-21 level and making one senior friendly appearance, he switched international allegiance to Kosovo in 2025.
