Alberto Grassi

Alberto Grassi is an Italian midfielder born in Brescia on 7 March 1995. He developed in Atalanta’s youth academy, signed his first professional contract in 2012, and made his senior debut against Roma in November 2014. After establishing himself in Serie A with Atalanta, Grassi moved to Napoli in January 2016. He later returned to Atalanta on loan and spent the 2017 season with SPAL, where he helped the club retain top-flight status. In 2018, he joined Parma initially on loan before the transfer became permanent, adding another stage to a career shaped across Italian football. Grassi also played for Empoli and Cagliari, gaining further Serie A experience before joining Cremonese. At Cremonese, he operates from a deeper midfield role, screening the defence, contesting possession and helping circulate the ball with switches of play.
