Archie Stuart Wayne Goodwin

Archie Stuart Wayne Goodwin is an Australian forward born on 7 November 2004. He developed in the Newcastle Jets academy and progressed into the first team, making his senior debut in February 2021. Goodwin established himself as a goalscoring attacker for Newcastle before moving to Adelaide United in June 2024. At Adelaide, he scored 13 goals in 26 games during the 2024–25 campaign and shared the A-League Golden Boot with Adrian Segecic. His form earned a move to Charlotte FC in August 2025, where he continued his career in Major League Soccer. Goodwin is primarily deployed centrally, using movement around the penalty area and direct finishing to threaten defenders. He remains part of Charlotte’s squad, representing the next stage of a career that began with the Jets.
