Adrián González Mendoza

Adrián González Mendoza is a midfielder who has developed through academy and reserve football in the United States and Mexico. Born on June 23, 2003, he began with Atletico Santa Rosa before joining Pachuca’s academy in December 2018. He returned to the United States in 2019, entering the LA Galaxy academy. González moved into senior football with LA Galaxy II in 2020, signed his first professional contract in April 2021, and spent three seasons with the side in the USL Championship. He then joined Columbus Crew 2 for 2024, before moving to Austin FC II in 2025. With Austin FC II, he continues as a central midfielder who can also operate deeper in defensive midfield. González has represented Mexico at under-16 and under-17 level, and debuted for the under-19 team in 2021. His path reflects a progression from youth development to regular professional competition across MLS reserve football.
