Alejandro Garzia

Alejandro Garzia is a Maltese centre-back born on 21 March 2002. He developed in the Floriana youth system and made his senior debut for the club as a teenager, beginning his progression in Malta’s professional game. Garzia became a reliable Floriana squad member and gained European experience in the 2025/26 UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying campaign. He started both legs against Haverfordwest and also featured against FC Ballkani, adding continental competition to his domestic development. In January 2026, he joined Birkirkara on loan from Floriana, taking the next step in his senior career. At 1.80 metres, Garzia can also operate at right-back or left-back, giving coaches flexibility across the defensive line. His game is built around disciplined positioning, covering space, contesting aerial balls and supporting build-up play, while his current Birkirkara role focuses on defensive stability.
