Alieu Fadera
Alieu Fadera is a Gambian forward who plays primarily on the left wing. Born in Bakau on 3 November 2001, he developed at Real de Banjul, where he scored 24 goals in 55 appearances between 2016 and 2020. Fadera moved to Europe with FK Pohronie in March 2020 and became the Slovak club’s joint-top scorer with five goals in the 2020–21 season. In August 2021, he joined Zulte Waregem, contributing nine goals and eight assists across two seasons. His performances earned him a move to Genk, continuing his progression through Belgian football. Fadera then joined Como in August 2024, beginning a new chapter in Italy’s top flight. For Gambia, he was involved in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and later World Cup qualifying, including a goal against Seychelles.
