Alex Freyr Elísson

Alex Freyr Elísson is an Icelandic defender who operates primarily at right-back. Born on 9 October 1997, he developed in the youth systems of Fylkir and Fram Reykjavík, moving from the former to the latter in 2010. Fram provided his senior breakthrough, where he initially featured in advanced wide roles including right midfield and right wing before establishing himself defensively. In early 2023, Elísson joined Breidablik and was part of squads involved in UEFA Champions League and Conference League qualifying campaigns.
