Artem Dovbyk

Artem Dovbyk

Artem Dovbyk attacks space as a focal centre-forward for AS Roma, pulling runs beyond the line to pin centre-backs. Artem Dovbyk shifts the play with short lay-offs. He debuted in 2014 for Cherkaskyi Dnipro, and he scored a dramatic last-minute winner against Sweden at Euro 2020. His career moved through Dnipro-1 and Dynamo Kyiv before a breakthrough at Girona, where he claimed the Pichichi Trophy. In 2024 he joined AS Roma for a club-record fee, reinforcing his role as a number 9. Artem Dovbyk holds up the ball, links play with one-touch layoffs and attacks the back post. He presses high and finishes moves, getting shots off quickly.
