Ali Diakité

Ali Diakité is an Ivorian midfielder born in Béoumi on 3 March 1993. He developed his professional career in Spain’s lower divisions, representing several clubs, including Alcoyano, while gaining experience in senior football. Diakité later moved to Malta and joined Hibernians, featuring in midfield during the 2021/22 season. He helped Hibernians win the Maltese Premier League title, the principal achievement of his career. His Spanish background and Maltese experience have taken him across two football environments, with the 1.80-metre player operating primarily in a central or defensive midfield role. Diakité subsequently spent time with Birkirkara before returning to Hibernians in January 2026. He remains associated with Hibernians as a senior midfielder.
