Alphonso Boyle Davies
Alphonso Davies attacks space with blistering pace, pulling defenders wide and checking short to spin in behind. Davies broke through MLS in 2016 and joined Bayern Munich in 2018. Davies drives at defenders with purpose. He helped Bayern win the 2019–20 treble while refining a high-pressing, attacking role. In 2022 Davies scored Canada's first-ever Men's World Cup goal. As captain in 2024, Alphonso Davies channels runs and sharp one-touch links to teammates, extending presses from the flank. Alphonso Davies finishes moves and blasts early shots to threaten the back post.
