Adrián Andrés Cubas

Adrián Andrés Cubas is a midfielder born in Campo Grande, Argentina, who represents Paraguay internationally. He developed at Boca Juniors and made his professional debut for the Argentine club in 2014. Cubas later spent loan periods with Delfino Pescara and Defensa y Justicia before joining Talleres de Córdoba permanently in 2018. In 2020, he moved to Nîmes, continuing his development in France before switching to Vancouver Whitecaps in 2022. With Vancouver, Cubas has established himself as a defensive midfielder, using tackling, interceptions and positional discipline to protect the back line and regain possession. He has also helped the Whitecaps win Canadian Championship titles, including four consecutive successes from 2022 through 2025. Born Argentine, Cubas chose Paraguay and made his international debut in 2020, adding a combative presence in midfield.
