Alistair Michael Coote
Alistair Michael Coote is a Scottish midfielder born in Bedford, England, on 11 June 1998. He developed with Tayport Thistle before joining Dundee United and signing his first professional contract in 2014. Coote made his senior debut for Dundee United against Aberdeen in April 2015, then gained experience with East Fife on loan. In 2017, he joined Brentford B, later captaining the side and winning its 2018–19 Player of the Year award. After joining Waterford in 2020, he continued his senior career in Ireland before establishing himself at Bohemians from 2021. Coote scored twice in Bohemians’ 2–1 Europa Conference League win over PAOK in August 2021. A short spell with Detroit City preceded his return to Ireland and move to Shelbourne in 2024. At Shelbourne, Coote has operated as a creative midfielder or wide player and helped win the 2024 League of Ireland Premier Division title.
