Alexandru Mihăiță Chipciu

Alexandru Mihăiță Chipciu is a Romanian midfielder born in Brăila on 18 May 1989. He developed at Dacia Unirea Brăila and Sporting Pitești before making his senior breakthrough with FC Brașov. After early spells at Forex Brașov and a return to Brăila, Chipciu joined Steaua București, now FCSB, in December 2011. As an attacking midfielder or winger, he helped Steaua win three successive Liga I titles and played in its 2012–13 European campaign. In 2016, he moved to Anderlecht and helped secure the Belgian league title in his first season, later spending time on loan at Sparta Praha. Chipciu returned to Romania with CFR Cluj, where his versatile role included wing-back duties and three further league titles. He also represented Romania at UEFA Euro 2016, before continuing his career as a midfielder with Universitatea Cluj.
