Asen Rumenov Chandarov

Asen Rumenov Chandarov is a Bulgarian midfielder born on 13 November 1998. He developed at DIT Sofia before entering senior football with Septemvri Sofia. A brief loan at Pirin Razlog in early 2016 preceded his move to Botev Plovdiv, where he made his Parva Liga debut against Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Septemvri remained a recurring part of his career, and Chandarov helped the club win the Bulgarian Second League title in 2021/22. He also played for Academica Clinceni in Romania and represented Levski Sofia during a 2019 loan and again from 2023 to 2025. At Levski, Chandarov featured as an attacking or central midfielder while developing greater defensive responsibility and passing range. He has represented Bulgaria at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels and is currently listed with Botev Plovdiv.
