Anthony Breslin
Anthony Breslin is an Irish defender from Dublin, born in 1997. He developed with St Kevin’s Boys before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2013. During six years at Wolves, Breslin became a senior figure in the under-23 side and made his senior competitive debut against Crewe Alexandra in the EFL Trophy in 2016. Released in 2018, he returned to Ireland after a trial with Shamrock Rovers and joined Longford Town for 2019. He earned a place in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year and scored against Athlone Town. His performances took him to Bohemians in 2020, where he played in Europe, including a 120-minute Europa League tie against Fehérvár. In December 2021, Breslin joined St Patrick’s Athletic, later playing every minute of their 2023 FAI Cup-winning run.
