Arnaud Bodart

Arnaud Bodart is a Belgian goalkeeper born in Seraing on 11 March 1998. He joined Standard Liège’s academy at eight after beginning football locally with Stray, and developed within the club’s system. Bodart signed his first professional contract with Standard in May 2017 and made his senior debut the following day in a 3–1 win over Waasland-Beveren. After initially serving as a reserve, he became the club’s first-choice goalkeeper during the 2019/20 season and remained a prominent figure for several campaigns. In November 2020, he scored a late equaliser against Eupen, although his main contribution has been shot-stopping and organising Standard’s defence. He was called into Belgium’s senior squad in June 2023 during Euro 2024 qualifying. Bodart moved to Metz in January 2025, helped secure promotion to Ligue 1, and later joined Lille as a free agent in July 2025.
