Antonio Barretta

Antonio Barretta is an Italian centre-back born in Napoli on 19 September 1995. He developed in the lower divisions, with early professional spells at Città di Isernia and Virtus Volla before moving to San Marino in 2021. Barretta joined AC Libertas for the 2021–22 season, making 33 appearances as he established himself in the Campionato Sammarinese. He then spent three seasons with Tre Penne, where his defensive work helped the club win the national championship in 2022–23. During that period, Barretta also featured in UEFA Champions League qualifying and Europa Conference League qualifying. In July 2025, he moved to La Fiorita, continuing his career as a primary centre-back in San Marino. Barretta’s recorded role is central defence, while his experience across Italian regional football and San Marinese competition defines a steady, durable career arc.
