Ashvin Balaruban
Ashvin Balaruban is a Swiss footballer born in Lucerne on 8 August 2001. He developed in the FC Luzern academy and represented Switzerland at under-15 level between 2015 and 2016. Balaruban continued his development with Luzern U21 before joining the senior setup, where he was part of the squad that won the Swiss Cup in 2020–21. He moved to SC Kriens on loan for the 2021–22 season, gaining regular experience in the Challenge League. In July 2022, he joined Neuchâtel Xamax permanently and remained there for two seasons. Balaruban moved to FC Thun in June 2024 and was part of the team that won the 2024–25 Challenge League title and secured promotion. He is currently linked with Thun, completing a progression through Swiss football from academy development to the top flight.
