Alexander Hartmann Bah

Alexander Hartmann Bah is a Danish right-back born in Årslev on 9 December 1997. He developed through Aarslev Boldklub, B 1913 and Næsby Boldklub, making his senior debut for Næsby as a winger after attending ISI Idrætsefterskole. In spring 2016, he registered six assists in 16 appearances before joining HB Køge that August. Bah moved to Sonderjyske in 2018, where a switch from winger to wing-back helped him use his pace and stamina in a more demanding defensive role. He helped Sonderjyske win the 2019/20 Danish Cup and made his Denmark debut in November 2020, scoring against Sweden. In January 2021, he joined Slavia Praha, winning the Czech league and cup double and later receiving the league’s Defender of the Season award. Since moving to Benfica in 2022, Bah has established himself as an attacking full-back who supplies width while contributing to recovery defending and 1v1 duels.
