Anders Bloch Bærtelsen

Anders Bloch Bærtelsen is a Danish defender who plays for Viking FK. He developed at Aalborg BK and made his senior Superliga debut against FC Midtjylland in April 2018. After a trial with West Bromwich Albion later that year, Bærtelsen signed a contract with AaB and joined the first-team squad for the 2019/20 season. Seeking regular senior football, he moved to Vendsyssel FF in August 2020. A year later, he transferred to FK Haugesund, beginning a sustained spell in Norway’s Eliteserien. Bærtelsen joined Viking in March 2025 and helped the club win the 2025 Eliteserien title, scoring twice in 21 appearances during the campaign. Primarily a central defender, he has also represented Denmark in youth internationals from under-16 to under-19 level and remains part of Viking’s defensive group.
