Alexander Ernesto Aravena Guzmán
Alexander Ernesto Aravena Guzmán is a Chilean forward born in Independencia on September 6, 2002. He developed at Universidad Católica, making his professional debut against Huachipato in 2020. Aravena joined Ñublense on loan in 2022, recording 12 goals and three assists in 38 appearances while developing into a more mobile wide forward. Returning to Universidad Católica for 2023, he scored 13 goals and supplied seven assists in 28 league matches. He was part of squads that won Chilean league titles in 2020 and 2021 and the 2021 Super Cup, although his early role was limited. Aravena made his senior Chile debut against Paraguay in March 2023. After joining Grêmio in July 2024, he moved to the Portland Timbers on loan in 2026, where he can operate as a winger or No. 10.
