Anouar Ait El Hadj

Anouar Ait El Hadj is a Belgian midfielder born in Molenbeek on 20 April 2002. He developed in Brussels, spending time with FC Molenbeek Brussels and Gent before joining Anderlecht’s academy at age 10. At Neerpede, Ait El Hadj was a standout in a strong youth group and won the Best Player award at the 2019 Ajax Future Cup. He made his Anderlecht first-team debut at 17 and broke through during the 2020/21 season, when he was nominated for Belgian Talent of the Year. In January 2023, he moved to Genk, where he competed for regular starts. Ait El Hadj returned to Brussels in July 2024 to join Union St. Gilloise. At Union, he has been used as an attacking or central midfielder, linking midfield with the forward line and contributing through passing, through-balls and set pieces.
