Yacoub Aly Abeid
Yacoub Aly Abeid is a Mauritanian defender, born in Riad, Saudi Arabia, on 11 December 1997. He developed with ASAC Concorde before moving to Spain, where Levante recruited him after a youth tournament in 2014. After becoming eligible to play, Abeid continued his development with Atlético Levante. He made his La Liga debut for Levante against Atlético Madrid on 15 April 2018, starting in a 3–0 defeat. Abeid then joined Alcorcón on loan for the 2018–19 season, gaining experience in Spain’s second tier. In 2020, he moved to Valenciennes, where he played in France’s Ligue 2 until 2022. He later continued his career in Romania with CFR Cluj and has represented Mauritania internationally since debuting against Gambia in 2015.
