Ahmed Abdullahi
Ahmed Abdullahi starts every forward move by attacking space and running beyond the line. Ahmed Abdullahi looks to get in behind with quick checks and finishing runs. He keeps pressing high for chances. Ahmed Abdullahi signed for Gent in July 2022 after trials with European clubs. He excelled in youth ranks, scoring 21 goals in 38 appearances for Jong Gent. A Nigeria U20 call-up in 2023 marked a turning point for Abdullahi as he learned to convert space into shots. He moved to Sunderland on 30 August 2024 and joined the U21 setup. As a centre-forward, Ahmed Abdullahi hunts angles, drives at defenders and finishes moves.
