Ľubomír Belko
Ľubomír Belko is a Slovak goalkeeper born on 4 February 2002. He developed in the academy of MŠK Žilina, whose possession-oriented approach helped shape his distribution and willingness to play beyond his goal line. Belko made his senior Fortuna Liga debut for Žilina on 8 August 2021, starting a 3–1 victory over FK Pohronie. He also gained European experience with Žilina in the 2021/22 UEFA Youth League, including knockout-stage appearances against Inter Milan. During the 2023/24 season, he recorded two assists, underlining his ability to launch attacks from goal. Belko moved to Norwegian club Viking in early 2026, continuing his career in the Eliteserien. Internationally, he has featured for Slovakia Under-21 and started three matches at the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, while also receiving senior-team recognition through a 2022 prospective players’ camp.
