Đorđe Petrović

Đorđe Petrović is a Serbian goalkeeper born in Požarevac on 8 October 1999. He developed at Čukarički and gained senior experience on loan with IMT during the 2018–19 season before returning to the Belgrade club. Petrović established himself in Čukarički’s first team, recording 33 clean sheets across 86 appearances over three seasons. In April 2022, he moved to New England Revolution, where his shot-stopping and penalty saves quickly drew attention in Major League Soccer. Chelsea signed Petrović in summer 2023, and he became a regular after Robert Sánchez’s injury, making 23 Premier League appearances in 2023–24 and helping the club reach the Carabao Cup final. He also saved a penalty in Chelsea’s quarter-final shootout against Newcastle. After a 2024–25 loan at Strasbourg, Petrović joined Bournemouth on loan for 2025–26 and has represented Serbia internationally.
