Serie B is Brazil’s national men’s second-tier league, commonly identified as the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B and also recorded as the Campeonato Brasileiro da Segunda Divisão. Organised by the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF), it provides the principal national route from Série C to the elite Série A.
