Method and coverage

The fixture-level scope contains 314 completed Eredivisie 2025 matches and 992 recorded goals. Of those matches, 312 carry an FT status and two carry a PEN status. The audit found no missing home or away score among the completed rows. The fixture total answers a coverage question; it is not the denominator used for every team rate in the table below.

The comparison uses the separate Xtra-Stats team-summary rows for the same competition and season. For each club, the displayed scoring rate is goals for divided by that club's covered matches, rounded to two decimals. The available team summaries contain 18 rows and 304 team-match observations in total. The minimum coverage is 16 matches and the maximum is 17, so the denominators are close but not identical.

That distinction matters. A fixture aggregate counts matches once, whereas team summaries count a club's perspective. A ranking row can therefore be useful for comparing the supplied snapshot without pretending that every table and statistic was generated from one perfectly synchronized grain.

The 18-team scoring table
